IEA World Energy Outlook 2009 forecasts that existing oil fields will rapidly decline 2008-2030 but that spectacular new finds will flood the market so that production will rise from 85 mbd to 105 mbd. Graphics and tables are extraordinary. Note the number of people without accesss to electricity in 2008 = 1.5 bil, 22%, expected to drop to 1.3 bil by 2030 -- no real change but slight drop in %.
